Flash Website Designer

SKILLS:

Required:

• Must have high-level skill in Adobe Flash, with demonstrated examples of working flash websites that you have created
• Solid base of understanding for supporting applications and technologies such as: HTML, CSS, FTP, DNS transfers, and web hosting configuration
• Business acumen and strong communication skills with clients
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills

Desired:

• Interest in learning graphics applications – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• PC/Windows and Macintosh operating systems
• Technical support and troubleshooting skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This role would be responsible for a variety of functions
• Account management, project management, helping to answer calls from clients
• Website layout and design
• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements, if necessary
• Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients, and that fit with the company's global image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate and make sure that they are universally accessible
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by clients
• All Flash animation projects
• Website maintenance, edits to existing sites, SEO, etc.
• Graphic Matter website maintenance

HOURS/SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position working in the Graphic Matter office, Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Initial work with prospective candidate will be on a freelance basis. Candidates must submit all requested information for consideration.

We are looking for local candidates who work in the central New Jersey area only. You will be required to work on-site in Hillsborough NJ.

This is not a graphic design for PRINT position; we are adequately staffed with print designers at this time.
