Beverly Thomas Rossi
Founder, Designer

Beverly Rossi brings 22 years of graphic design and print industry experience to Graphic Matter, Inc. Rossi demonstrates strong people and project management skills with proficiency in graphic design, prepress, desktop software applications, print services, and supplier management. Her experience includes three start-up companies, three merger/acquisitions, and more than two decades of people and budget management.

Rossi excelled as a manager of a corporate in-house creative department and in commercial print and design services companies. With 10 years in the corporate consulting environment, she performed the roles of publishing manager, international corporate identity manager (a.k.a. branding manager), instructional designer, and instructor. In the commercial design and print arena, she has held the titles of graphic designer, regional prepress manager, creative services director, and print center manager for companies such as Standard Register, N.E.C. Graphics, Uarco and LP Thebault.

As a key member of the management team at Uarco’s NJ “Impressions” center, Rossi managed 60 people and a $7 million budget. She spearheaded their efforts, which gave the NJ center the distinction of being the first of 10 regional centers to become profitable within 18 months of launch.

Rossi served as engagement manager for Cirqit, an ASP software provider, where she directed the client and supplier deployment process. This role combined the functions of account management, technical sales support, instructional design and delivery. As project manager for an e-procurement initiative with Black & Decker and 25 print suppliers, the Cirqit initiative was given credit for an impressive 17% cost reduction of print costs within the first six months. Black & Decker received an Aberdeen award for this cost savings and process improvement effort.

Rossi has been a speaker and/or presenter at many trade shows such as DMA, Seybold, GraphExpo, On-Demand, Instructional Systems Association (ISA) Conference, NJ Technology Council and Rutgers EMBA program. She is an active member of several business associations including WBENC, NAWBO, NJAWBO, and SCBP. Rossi holds a liberal arts degree from Arcadia University, a BFA in graphic design and a minor in sociology.

Amy Melick

Amy Melick
Graphic Designer, Project Manager

Amy Melick brings 18 years of experience in the areas of business development, sales, account management, marketing and graphic design to Graphic Matter. Melick demonstrates the ability to manage complex projects in a relationship-driven environment and is a creative problem solver, possessing exceptional communication and organizational skills. She is experienced in both the PC and Mac operating systems.

Melick served The Hampshire Companies, a commercial real estate firm, as marketing manager and coordinator of investor relations. In that role, Melick designed, developed and produced all investor communications including all financial reports and presentations, RFPs and due diligence reports. She also implemented a new logo and brand identity, and set up and management of a new website. Melick reduced internal costs by 30% by moving the organization toward electronic communications. Melick also was part of the team that investigated and implemented a document management system, which included workflow. She negotiated price points and defined expectations with all print, media and IT vendors. Melick also assisted and supported the implementation of Hampshire’s first Institutional Fund, raising $235 million in investments.

Most recently, Melick served as the manager of business development and marketing for Medallion Business Credit, where she developed and implemented a marketing strategy to build brand awareness in the marketplace. This initiative included a new logo and brand identity, advertising campaigns, and guidelines for brand usage, both internally and externally.

At Graphic Matter, Melick provides business support for RPR Graphics, a retainer client, and ongoing marketing and design services for Hall’s Garden Center, managing its e-mail marketing campaign and advertising. Melick is also a regular contributor to Graphic Matter’s LifeCell Corporation projects.

Melick graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Metalsmithing and is certified as a professional grant writer.

Chrysanthe Longman

Chrysanthe Longman

Chrysanthe Longman has over 15 years of experience in the graphic design field, in both the corporate environment and in running her own design firm. Her experience includes the design of logos, marketing collateral and instructional materials, as well as brand campaigns and standards. Her client work has involved large, medium and small organizations spanning all industries, but especially professional services and retail.

While at Kepner-Tregoe, an international management consulting firm, Longman served as project manager and graphic designer in the development and launch of instructional and marketing materials, as well as the translation of these products into four languages.

Longman designed the branding package for Linda Principe Interiors in celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary. This package included logo, business cards, stationery, brochure, newsletter template and postcard. Longman brings strong project and account management skills to Graphic Matter, as evidenced in the recent New Millennium Bank and Consumer Centers of NY and NJ website projects, which coordinated the efforts of multiple designers, web developers and copywriters.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Arcadia University with a major in graphic design.

Irene Worek

Irene Worek

Irene Worek brings 20 years of graphic design and strong project management experience to Graphic Matter, Inc. With skills including project management, instructional design and brand management, her contributions to Graphic Matter projects are invaluable.

While at Kepner-Tregoe, Worek managed the design and production of various core training products, including translations into several languages. As senior publishing coordinator, Worek coordinated product launches consisting of roughly 35 components, most averaging 300-600 pages. Working closely with product development, marketing, and production teams, she helped to determine the best usage and most cost effective production methods. Worek garnered extensive experience with brand management, support and training, becoming a practitioner of the Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision Making, Analytic Troubleshooting, Project Management and Human Performance Management methods.

Worek designed advertisements and marketing collateral in her positions at Studio Associates and the Princeton Packet, as well as for clients such as Rising Stars Voice Studio, NY Landscape Lighting, Business for New Jersey and McCarter Theatre.

In her role as project manager with Graphic Matter’s LifeCell Corporation account, Worek identified process improvement opportunities, streamlined workflow, managed resources and was a key contributor in the implementation of a DAM system to manage hundreds of art files for several product lines and from multiple vendors. The accuracy required for this product packaging is valued in the millions of dollars. Worek’s accomplishments also include branding for Sound Financial Solutions and the Essex County Utilities Authority website.

Worek holds an AAS degree in Advertising Design from Cazenovia College, NY, and a BS in Art from Pace University, NY.

Jacqueline Hasko

Jacki Hasko has more than 21 years' experience in computer graphic design and prepress production. As technical applications and desktop production manager for TSI Graphics, Hasko managed a team of eight prepress operators who electronically produced 21 national magazines for clients such as Hearst, Condè Nast and Ziff Davis. Hasko’s team successfully managed a 300% increase in workload with no additional staffing. As a manager at Master Eagle at the dawn of desktop publishing, Hasko spearheaded efforts to integrate the Scitex-based production environment with the Macintosh operating system. This initiative provided Master Eagle the competitive edge in serving the needs of its demanding client base composed of top New York City advertising agencies.

Hasko’s innovative design abilities have benefited such Graphic Matter clients as The Idea Network, Sloan & Company, LifeCell Corporation, and most recently SkinCare by Solachi. Hasko is recognized for her advanced capabilities in illustration, design, and image editing, as well as extensive experience in commercial print and prepress. She has been a lead designer with Graphic Matter since its inception.

Hasko holds a master’s degree in Computer Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, one of the nation’s renowned institutes for print and graphic design technologies.

Irene Worek

Mitushi Banerjee
Website Designer

Mitushi brings 14 years of web design experience to Graphic Matter, with a strong foundation in HTML coding, flash animation and java scripting capabilities. She began her career in India, as Graphic Designer and Content Developer for Swaraj Infotech, Krizm Infotech, and Easypack. Her work incuded website building, Flash and PowerPoint presentations, print design, and instructional guides.

Since joining the Graphic Matter team, Mitushi has built websites for Alliance Environmental LLC, Konkus Corp, and Leamon & Sabky. MItushi’s commitment to continuing education and her love of technology make her a great asset for the Graphic Matter team and its clients.

Mitushi received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nagpur University, as well as a diploma in Software Management from Aptech and in Web Design and Animation from Arena Multimedia, in Nagpur, India. She also holds a certificate in Creative Writing from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Scherlyn Garney

With a graduate degree in Management and 11 years at AT&T, Garney worked in the areas of marketing, sales planning, strategy, and customer satisfaction. Her experience included development of direct mail programs, commission offers, advertising, marketing plans, and financial/operational measurements. Under her management, a national direct marketing program for Texaco achieved an impressive 15% success rate. She worked directly with national accounts such as Burger King and Texaco.

Garney is a webmaster and web designer, certified through the International Webmasters Association (IWA). She has a strong business and educational background, both of which are essential in the development of quality business websites. Garney has been building websites for over 10 years. Her website credits include New Millennium Bank, Pink Ribbon Program, PharmaStrat, Step Ahead and Precision Building & Construction, to name just a few.

Attention to detail and start-to-finish work ethic make Garney a valuable contributor to the Graphic Matter team.
